BuySinopec is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, damages, or losses caused by:

Carrier delays, operational failures, or negligence by shipping carriers;
Employee strikes, labour disruptions, or supply chain interruptions;
Weather events, natural disasters, or other Force Majeure Events;
Customs inspections, border delays, or import restrictions;
Incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer; or
Theft, loss, or damage occurring after carrier delivery confirmation.

Risk of loss and title to products pass to you upon transfer of the products to the shipping carrier, as further described in our Terms of Service Section 6B.

5. PRODUCT COMPATIBILITY AND SPECIFICATIONS

You are solely responsible for verifying the compatibility, specifications, viscosity grade, API rating, voltage, fittings, capacity, and intended application of any product BEFORE placing your order.

BuySinopec sells lubricants, oils, fluids, pumps, equipment, and related industrial products that may have specific compatibility, performance, or operating requirements. Selecting an incorrect or incompatible product may result in product failure, equipment damage, or safety risks.

You acknowledge and agree that:

It is your responsibility to consult equipment manuals, manufacturer specifications, qualified technicians, or other authoritative sources to determine the correct product for your specific application;
BuySinopec is not responsible for losses, damages, equipment failure, or claims arising from your selection of an incorrect, incompatible, or inappropriate product;
Pumps, equipment, and accessories are sold on a final sale basis (per Return Policy Section 3), and no refunds will be issued for compatibility errors, sizing errors, or buyer’s remorse; and
Any technical information, recommendations, or guidance provided by BuySinopec is offered for informational purposes only and does not constitute a warranty or guarantee of suitability for your particular application.

If you are uncertain about product compatibility or specifications, please contact our team at info@buysinopec.ca BEFORE placing your order. We are happy to assist with product selection but cannot guarantee suitability for your specific application or equipment.

6. PRODUCT SAFETY AND SDS (SAFETY DATA SHEETS)

Lubricants, oils, fluids, and related industrial chemicals may be hazardous if mishandled, mixed with incompatible substances, or used contrary to their intended application.

You acknowledge and agree that:

It is your responsibility to review the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for any product BEFORE handling, storing, transporting, or using it;
Safety Data Sheets are available from the manufacturer or by contacting us at info@buysinopec.ca;
You are responsible for complying with all applicable workplace safety regulations, including the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), the Hazardous Products Act (Canada), and applicable provincial occupational health and safety legislation;
You are responsible for proper handling, storage, ventilation, personal protective equipment (PPE), spill response, and disposal of products in accordance with applicable laws and manufacturer recommendations; and
BuySinopec disclaims all liability for personal injury, property damage, environmental harm, regulatory violations, or other losses arising from improper handling, storage, transportation, use, or disposal of products purchased through the Website.
